“Art is to console those who are broken in life.”

Vincent van Gogh

I have followed a typical path from college to career to motherhood. But nothing has provided more personal exuberance than my relationship with art. I believe that second only to love, art anchors the beautiful memories in our mind.

My story begins and remains in consulting, team building, and client services. My success in radio sales and marketing provided the right skill set to pivot into the healthcare field where I elevated into more strategic, leadership roles.

Meanwhile I raised my children in a land of make believe, magic, and kaleidoscopes, with the idea that anything is possible. I started traditions like “birthday tables” and made sure every Valentine’s Day gift box was award-winning. I believe we are born to create, and problem solve- not just produce and consume.

My painting journey began with COVID. I am self-taught and what you see here was achieved in less than 18 months. I have created over 200 pieces, sold 75, built this website to showcase the work and had multiple commercial installations. Three of my pieces currently remain at the legendary 3rd & Lindsley performance hall in Nashville, TN.

I am a passionate believer in art’s power to connect us and change the world. It is a beautiful neutral anchor; we should have it in our lives everyday.

I now have a completely mobile art studio that I pop-up on-site! I teach people how to find their inner artist! Estate planners will tell you that people cherish Mama’s Christmas ornaments, Dad’s guitar, or Grandma’s quilt over the cash. When you invest in Rainmaker art, you are supporting the connection between people and their memories.
